At a meeting held at the Governor House Lahore, the PPP and the PML -N have agreed to work together and implement the public projects immediately.
A consultative meeting of the Liaison Committees of the two parties was held in the Governor House, in which the development projects of the Chief Minister were reviewed in Punjab, which decided that the two parties would go together in the public interest and try to rescue the country from the problems. After the meeting, PPP Governor Punjab and PML -N Speaker Punjab Assembly told media that the unity of the two parties is meant to get out of difficulties.
In the meeting, the PPP also expressed its reservations regarding Punjab and made it clear that the PPP has no group in the Punjab bureaucracy, nor does it want to appoint any of its deputy commissioners or administrative officers, but wants to implement the public interest plans immediately.
The projects that are going on in Punjab of the public interest were also given suggestions from the PPP which should really be implemented which could benefit the people. The meeting also reviewed the development projects of the Chief Minister Punjab and several decisions were made and the two parties also clarified the reasons for their mutual unity and the Governor and Speaker Punjab said that we have to move the country forward, the PML -N and the PPP should do the politics of federalism. Prior to this meeting, Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have also met in Islamabad.
The PPP has also made it clear that the PPP has been for the sake of survival of democracy and the PPP is supporting the PML -N government because of the difficulties facing the country, but the government is making unilateral decisions unilaterally and in important issues, there is no consensus with the PPP and no matter what the party has called for a meeting. Against the interests of the N -League government, the PPP cannot agree with the decisions that are being made on its own and the people will not be acknowledged by the enemy government decisions.
The PPP has been complaining to the federal government that the issues that were settled with the PPP -N -League in the Punjab case have not been implemented and that is why a meeting was recently held in the Governor’s House Lahore, in which the two parties agreed on some issues which have not been implemented. MQM convener and Federal Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui says that the current system is not acceptable to us, now the time of the final decision is coming and we have to make important decisions.
After the PPP, the MQM is the second important government ally in the federation. It is also not agreeing to the unilateral decisions of the government like the PPP and contrary to the government’s position, the MQM is not satisfied with the PML -N’s federal government like the PPP. Due to the PPP in both parties, the federal government is formed, which is a major party which disagrees with government decisions and the PPP disagreement is better for the country and the nation.
The government cannot afford the separation of the MQM from the government, so it will be forced to resolve the MQM’s grievances. The government should also make decisions with its allies small parties in confidence, and instead of disobedient decisions, they should consult their allies first in every important government issue and make unanimous decisions with confidence.
