Islamabad:
Eknik approved nine development projects worth Rs 355 billion, including the Dasu Hydropower Project.
According to Express News, a meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, which reviewed important sectors including transport, energy, education and approved development projects.
The meeting also approved tourism development and rural road improvement projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said that the government is committed to sustainable and comprehensive development in all areas.
The meeting approved the restoration of flood affected areas in Sindh and elementary education projects, Mangi Dam and water delivery system in Balochistan.
In addition, the meeting also approved the repair of 100 diesel electric engines and the improvement of the delivery system. FBR Digital Enforcement Stations and Trade Management System Plans were approved.
The meeting approved the principle of the Dasu Hydropower Project.
