Scheduled Cambridge Examinations canceled on May 9 in view of the security situation

Cambridge International Education has canceled the scheduled Cambridge Mandat on May 9 due to security situation during Pak-India tensions.

A statement issued by the Cambridge International Education states that after consultation with the Cambridge and the British Council, the security situation was reviewed and our priority is to cooperate with the students and staff and help students to improve the field of education.

The statement said that in Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Islamabad and Punjab, O Level, IGCSE, International AS & A Level have made a difficult decision to cancel the exams.

Cambridge said the decision is only for the May 9 exam and will apply directly to Cambridge and British Council schools.

It was further informed that Cambridge will be informed about scheduled exams in the evening on May 11 and if the security situation is good, the examinations will be scheduled in other cities on May 9.

“In the event of any change, the students will be informed and where the examinations have been canceled, we will use our skills and the best process to ensure that we can give transparent grades so that the development of the students,” Cambridge said.
