At the important meeting on the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 84 steps were proposed on 18 topics, the meeting finalized the provincial action plan for eliminating terrorism and restoring peace.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an important meeting on the law and order chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was held, in which the Chief Secretary, IGP, Additional Chief Secretaries, relevant administrative secretaries, RPOs and other senior officials participated in the meeting. There are seven main pillars of steps, good governance measures, general measures, monitoring and awareness action plan.
The meeting has proposed a total of 84 steps on 18 different topics under the Action Plan, responsibilities have been assigned to all concerned provincial departments and federal agencies with timelines for implementation of the action.
Under the action plan, steps will be taken to restore public confidence in the state system, in this regard, the capacity of state institutions will be practically highlighted to punish the terrorists.
It was agreed at the meeting that the process of cornectic operations would be continued against the evil -makers, that the laws would be strictly enforced to destroy the terrorist fort.
The process of providing public services will be improved, public opinion will be included in security and development issues, organized actions against terrorists and their facilitators will be implemented, a comprehensive database of terrorists and their facilitators will be set in this regard.
It was decided in the meeting that the schedule Fourth would be updated from time to time and strict monitoring of the people involved, on a monthly basis, the cases of the terrorist heads would be reviewed and updated and the activities of the terrorists and their facilitators would be constantly monitored.
It was decided in the meeting that strict disciplinary proceedings would be implemented against the government employees involved in the facilitating terrorists, monthly district security assessments would be taken at the district level, the District Security Assistant will take the terrorists and the security of the terrorists.
The meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that under the action plan, the civil administration would be given a lead role against terrorism. For this purpose, the capacity of the police and counter -terrorism department will be increased on a fast track basis.
In this regard, a plan for recruitment, training, weapons and equipment will be set up in the police by the end of this month, priority projects will be included in the annual development program for police infrastructure in the southern and integrated districts.
The meeting said that under the action plan, a policy would be formulated as soon as possible to address cross -border terrorist incidents. Under the policy, the provincial government’s jirga will hold talks with the Afghan tribal elders after the approval of the TORs from the federal government.
Similarly, the matter will be raised with the federal government to increase diplomatic level activities with Afghanistan, an integrated system of intelligence collection and sharing will be devised under the action plan, local intelligence database will be connected with the relevant provincial and federal agencies for the purpose.
At the provincial level, regular meetings of the Epox Committee, Steering Committee, Divisional and District Intelligence Coordination Committees will be held regularly, public liability committees will be formed at the police station level to keep a close eye on terrorist activities at the public and community level.
It was decided that all the terrorist -assisted activities would be implemented, the installation of modern scanners on all transit points to prevent smuggling of drugs, weapons and other goods, in addition to installation of the Artificial Intelligence Monitoring System, will be completed for the year -round. The training system will be used.
Similarly, it has been said that funding madrassas will be audited from abroad, digital tracking and AI -based monitoring will be carried out to monitor the chemicals used in medicines, block chain tracking system will be used to monitor explosives.
The statement said that the NADRA database will be used to monitor the explosives traders, joint operations will be implemented on cross -border smuggling routes to prevent smuggling of arms.
Arms license software will be upgraded to monitor weapons and sellers, electronic cargo training system will be implemented for the tracking of smuggled equipment, joint check posts will be set up on smuggling routes.
It was decided in the meeting that under social and economic sector measures, various activities would be initiated to create employment opportunities for youth and provide alternative employment opportunities.
Skills and vocational training will be provided to provide employment to the youth in the industries, special district economic plans will be set up for the merger districts, work on the establishment of economic zones in these districts will be accelerated, the cultivation of profitable crops will be promoted in these districts.
Farmers will be given concessions for the cultivation of these crops, special measures will be taken for temporary migration of the merger districts, a plan will be set up for the steps and resettlement of these people.
The meeting said that the availability of basic necessities in the respective areas will be ensured for the restoration of these people, legal framework will be strengthened under legal measures to eliminate terrorism, for this purpose the restoration of the prohibited magistrate system will be restored.
It was further stated that a coordination system will be devised between the police, the judiciary and the district administration, the ultraviolet dispute resolution mechanism will be strengthened to resolve the mutual dispute, as well as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Enforcement and Regulation Act will be implemented.
Apart from this, the criminal justice system will be reforms, special trials will be arranged for terrorists in the courts, the number of residential staff will be increased in the anti -terrorism courts on the basis of need, as well as the feeless courts will be established.
The meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gundapur said that steps to inform the public against terrorism and the development agendas and public interests of the government are also part of the action plan.
In this regard, communication strategies will be developed to effectively use various media, general measures under the action plan include Safe City projects, district level security reviews, governance and development issues, and anti -terrorist measures are being taken.
It was decided in the meeting that a monthly report would be prepared to ensure the implementation of the Good Governance Strategy of the government, an effective monitoring system would be devised to ensure the implementation of the action plan and in this regard the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Chief Secretary and Chief Secretary Office and Chief Secretary were responsible.
