The Sindh Assembly’s parliamentary committee has approved grace marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics to students of the first year in Karachi.
The Parliamentary Committee, set up in the convention of Sindh Minister Syed Sardar Shah, on the issue of inter -year -old students in Karachi, approved the grace of grace marks to students in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
In the first year, physics and mathematics will be 15/15 % while 20 % of the chemistry will be given in the first year.
The parliamentary committee approved this on the proposed report of the Fact Finding Committee chaired by former NED Vice Chancellor Dr Sarosh Lodhi.
This was stated by Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah at a press conference with MQM member Abdul Wasim, Jamaat -e -Islami member Mohammad Farooq and PIT member Abdul Rashid Qureshi in the Sindh Assembly Building on Tuesday evening.
Sardar Shah said that the final approval of the grace marks would be given by the Chief Minister Sindh and the Universities and Boards of the Department would issue a notification of the decision.
Addressing the press conference, the members said that the Fact Finding Committee had raised several questions on the board’s management structures, assessments, IT sections and executions.
He said that it was also proved that Karachi students were abused and the committee reports that the results have been decreasing for the last 8 years.
Compared with other boards, the results of Karachi are diminishing, so now all the boards will have to look at the issues of all boards.
Syed Sardar Shah said that in three articles all the students should be given grace marks, 15/15 in physics and mathematics and 20 % of Grace Marks will be given in chemistry while action has been recommended against those responsible.
We have asked the Sindh Assembly to determine these responsibilities and further investigate the matter.
On the question regarding government colleges, the Chief Minister said that we can also look at the results of the colleges individually so that they can also be prosecuted.
The press conference said that it has been proved that the children of Karachi have been abused, MQM Member of Parliament Abdul Wasim said that the number with the students of Karachi and the students of other educational boards is being raised by increasing the number.
