At a meeting of the National Security Council, it was revealed that Pakistan would become a hard estate instead of a soft estate to deal with terrorism. At that time, the common man’s question was, what is the difference between soft estate and hard estate? Some friends were referring to him as dictatorship, everyone had his own praise. However, as the days are passing, Pakistan’s soft estate from the country began to look for a hard estate. We are feeling this change. The biggest change is visible on the Pak -Afghan border.
In the past two days, temptations from two places free from the Afghan border have tried to cross the border. Both times they have been killed on the border. Eleven, in the first place, 16 temptations were sent to hell. Earlier, we did not tighten the border so much but now the order to shoot at the border is seen, it is extraordinary progress. If anyone tries to cross the Pak -Afghan border illegally, it will be shot dead, no exemption will be given. The Torkham border has also been closed for 27 days.
All kinds of trade are also closed. The border is still opened on a limited scale, no one is allowed to cross the border without a visa. Otherwise the border was crossed by showing any identity. But now there is no transportation. Trade has also been tightened. In the first phase, we are seeing Pakistan becoming a hard estate from the soft estate in Pak -Afghan affairs, which is a major change.
Similarly, the eviction of Afghans from Pakistan is a matter of eviction. Even now, the general opinion is that in the past, the government of Pakistan has given many deadlines to expel Afghans. But deadlines pass. Afghan refugees live here. There is a few days of hardship, then the matter is suppressed.
People give examples that even in the caretaker period, there was talk of removing Afghan refugees. There was a lot of noise for a few days. We have also seen the count that so many Afghan refugees have returned today. It is also said that eight million Afghan refugees had returned. But did they really go to Afghanistan or return because it is still said that more than three million Afghan refugees are still in Pakistan. Unless the border crosses, the backdrop cannot be prevented from entering Pakistan again.
Secur TT institutions and the government are of the opinion that as long as they are in Pakistan, terrorism from Pakistan cannot be eliminated. So it is important for them to go back.
Pakistan’s desire is old. But it is not fulfilled. This is a difficult task as the voices of Pakistan begin to come from within Pakistan. Regular state policy is thwarted, but the hope is that this will not happen this time. This time, Rasti has fully urged Afghan refugees and refugees to be sent back.
It is true that the KP government is opposing the state’s decision. Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur has said that all these Afghan citizens should be granted citizenship of Pakistan. But they may also know that it will be no less than a poison killer for Pakistan’s security, unity and economy. That is why it is said that political interests are in its place but the first Pakistan.
The leadership of the PTI from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also shouting in this regard. However, it seems that the definition of Hahad State also includes sending all Afghans back from Pakistan. Now we may not think that after Eid, the state is preparing for a major operation. The hard estate street will be seen, a special helpline will be set up to report the Afghans and will be made possible to send them back.
We have a model of Iran. Those who have comfortably sent a million Afghans from their country. No Iranian political or religious party, intellectuals or political people did not oppose it, nor did the Taliban government dare to protest with Iran. We have to learn from Iran. This is not an impossible task, it is possible. Only the seriousness and courage of the state. Is that seriousness and courage now? This is a big question.
Nevertheless, it seems that the state will not tolerate any pressure on this issue or will suffer from any way. Border is being closed, preparations are being made to evacuate Afghans. Their properties and businesses are being prepared to seize. Their bank accounts will also be closed. The temporary papers they have, will be removed.
Along with this, operations against terrorists will also be tightened in the country. I think this is the right thing because as long as the border is open, it is not possible to control terrorism, the operation against terrorism in the country can only succeed when the movement of the Pak -Afghan border is stopped. The Afghans should not be sent back and they cannot come back, it cannot be done without sealing the border.
We cannot sit on our hands that the Afghan government is not cooperating. We have to do this on our bills. Pakistan’s special representatives for Afghanistan have recently arrived in Kabul for three days. There have been serious talks on terrorism, news of the breakthrough is coming. It is said that the Afghan Minister of Commerce will come to Pakistan after Eid. But Pakistan’s trade cooperation is subject to Afghanistan’s cooperation with terrorism. But how? This is a big question.
Will the Afghan government hand over the wanted terrorists to Pakistan? I do not see it possible. Will they be arrested there? I don’t even see that too. Will Pakistan perform surgical strikes? I see this possible. Afghans can remain silent on this. Or can give limited reactions. But this is a difficult decision for the Afghan government. Nevertheless, in the context of Afghanistan to fight terrorism, Pakistan’s soft estate journey is visible. This is an extraordinary change. The effects will also be extraordinary.
