In the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, Indian army killed 22 tribes in the guise of search operation.
According to Indian media, Indian forces conducted a search operation in the forests of Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh state.
During which 22 tribesmen were declared a Naxal rebel and fired them with bullets and shifted the bodies to an unknown location.
The identity of the victims has not yet been disclosed, but the Indian Army claims that all the dead were armed fighters.
Search operation is still underway in the forest areas of Kari Guta, located on the border of Bijapur and Telangana.
It is to be remembered that the military operation against Naxal rebels in these forests has been underway from April 21 and four women have been killed in these operations so far.
Earlier, on January 23, 16 fighters were killed in clashes with Maoist fighters in Graband district of Chhattisgarh.
According to the Indian government’s claims, 287 Maoist fighters were killed in similar clashes last year in 2024.
For decades, separatist movements have been struggling against the distribution of unfair resources in the central and eastern states of India.
Indian Home Minister Amit Shah had claimed that India would be released from Naxal rebels 2026.
