European Union Representative for Foreign Affairs expressed sympathy with families affected by Indian aggression

European Union Representative for Foreign Affairs Kalamas expressed his sympathy with the families affected by Indian aggression in telephonic contact with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and called for patience to both Pakistan and India.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar contacted European Union representative Kakalis over the telephone and the two leaders discussed the latest situation in the region.

The Foreign Office said that Ishaq Dar thanked the European Union for its support and unity in the difficult time and the Deputy Prime Minister strongly condemned India’s war operations.

Ishaq Dar said that Indian attacks violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and threatened regional peace and stability, India’s actions violate the UN Charter and International Law.

The Foreign Minister rejected Indian claims of targeting the terrorist infrastructure and said that there was no credible evidence to connect Pakistan with the Pahalgam attack.

He said that Pakistan reserves the right to respond appropriately according to Article 51 of the UN Charter.

According to the Foreign Office spokesman, the European Union’s top representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kalas, expressed his heartfelt condolences over the loss of lives of citizens and expressed sympathy with the families affected by Indian aggression.

Representative European Union said that both sides should show full patience and talk and diplomacy should move forward.
