Eid in Punjab on Eid

The Punjab Arts Council has decided to take stringent steps to address the rising obscenity and nudity in the theater on the occasion of Eid -ul -Fitr.

According to Express News, the Executive Director Punjab Arts Council Mohammad Tanveer Majid and Director Operation Mughees Bin Aziz have been instructed to the theater owners, producers and directors to ensure full compliance with the moral rules in their own theaters.

Speaking on the occasion of an Iftar dinner in honor of the cultural reporters in this regard, Mohammad Tanveer Majid said that obscenity and immoral movements in the theaters would not be tolerated. For this purpose, the process of e-monitoring across Punjab has been further tightened to keep the theater environment clean.

He said that no one will be given the opportunity to commit obscenity anymore, and whoever goes against it will have to face severe legal action.

According to sources, monitoring of full dress sensor rehearsal of all theater dramas presented on the occasion of Eid -ul -Fitr has been started, which will be completed before Eid. All this process will oversee the Director Operation Mughees bin Aziz, who will ensure that no drama is involved in immoral content.

Punjab Arts Council has banned several male and female artists to keep the theater environment clean, while all artists have decided to take oath that they will not dance pornography and Nazi phrases in the theaters.

Executive Director Mohammad Tanveer Majid said that these steps are essential to provide the theater to a pure entertainment and family environment, and anyone who violates these rules will not be given any concession.
