An interesting incident occurred during the ongoing trade tension between China and the United States.
The ongoing trade tensions between China and the United States have now reached the world of fashion. The Chinese diplomat’s comment on the dress of White House press secretary Caroline Lieut revealed that a storm broke out on social media.
Chinese diplomat Zhang Xishing shared a photo of Caroline Lieut on X (formerly Twitter), claiming that his red and black -laden garment was developed in China.
He wrote sarcastically: “Bleaing for China is a business, shopping life from China.”
Not only that, he also posted images of the design that resembles the dress that is available for sale on Chinese websites.
Zhang further revealed that the garment lace was manufactured in a factory in the city of Mao, China and was identified by an employee there.
After this disclosure on social media, a storm of debate came. Someone declared the garment a Chinese copy, while someone accused Caroline of hypocrisy.
One user commented that “those who speak against China with the language are wearing Chinese clothing.”
Another user wrote that “France has the original design, China has just copied, it’s Fake News!”
Some consumers said that although this garment is available in China, Caroline’s clothing is not the same.
It should be noted that Caroline Lieut has been in the news in recent days due to anti -China statements, in which her alleged Chinese clothing has opened a new front.
