Business Activities in April, registering 2000 new companies in SECP

The country saw business activities increased during April 2025 and resulted in the registered 2,956 new companies of the corporate sector in the SECP, which increased the total number of registered companies in the country to two lakh 52 thousand 321.

The SECP statement said that about 99.9 % of new companies are now being registered digitally, which reflects the SECP’s efforts to provide an integrated, technology -based regulatory environment.

The new companies said that 56 % of the new companies registered is private limited while 39 % are single member companies, the remaining 5 % of the companies include public unpaid companies, non -profit companies, trade organizations and limited lobbying partnerships.

The SECP said that a detailed review of various sectors showed that the activity in many industries has seen a significant increase, the information technology and e -commerce sectors have increased the most where 584 new companies have been registered.

The trading sector included 402, 363 in services, 255 new companies in real estate development and construction, 172 in tourism and transport sector, 140 in food and beverage, 131 in education, engineering, fuel, energy and power generation 108, cosmetics, cosmetics and cosmetics, 102 in cosmetics, 102, 102 in cosmetics, and 102 in cosmetics. And 63 new companies were registered in coiring, 59 in corporate agricultural farming, 55 in pharmaceutical and 49 in healthcare.

In addition, other sectors that contributed to the development include communication allied, auto and allied, sports and allied, tobacco, broadcasting and telecommunication, steel, arts and culture, non -banking finance companies (NBFCs), etc. A total of 341 new companies have been registered.

It was further stated that foreign investment in the corporate sector also showed encouraging trends, where 92 new companies received capital from international investors, these investors belonged to different countries, including Bahrain, Belgium, China, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Kenya, Malaysia, Malaysia, Malaysia, Malaysia.
