District and Sessions Courts Islamabad heard a case related to anti -state campaign and sensitive government data leaking, accused Anas Nawaz was presented to the accused in the court of Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Abbas Shah.
The FIA presented the accused to the court on completion of a four -day physical remand, the court sent the accused to jail on a 14 -day judicial remand.
The FIA did not request physical remand of the accused, the accused was arrested from Lake View Society Bani Gala, Islamabad.
According to the case, the accused received illegal access to the passport and immigration database, shared photos of citizens’ personal passports and top government figures on social media, the accused shared sensitive information from the X account and tried to spread panic among the public.
A case has been registered against the accused under PECA-2016.
