Why did Manoj Kumar make a case against Shah Rukh Khan for 100 crore damages?

India’s legendary actor Manoj Kumar filed a case against Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan for 100 million damages, but do you know what was the real reason for the dispute?

The release of the film ‘Om Shanti Om’ in 2007 caused a stir in Bollywood, but a special scene of the film proved to be unacceptable to Manoj Kumar.

In the film, Shah Rukh Khan’s role in Om Prakash Mukheja, in which he stole Manoj Kumar’s pass and enters the film premiere and the police did not recognize him because of his style of covering his face, the legendary actor felt unpleasant.

Manoj Kumar called on the filmmakers to remove the scene from the film, which the parties agreed. Shah Rukh Khan apologized and said, “I was absolutely wrong … If they were hurt, I apologize. When I called them, they said, “Son, this is not a big deal”.

But the matter was resurrected in 2013 when the film was re -released in Japan and the same controversial scene was added to which Manoj Kumar objected. This time, the actor filed a case against Shah Rukh Khan and Eros International for Rs 100 crore.

Manoj Kumar’s lawyer said, “Shah Rukh Khan had promised earlier, but he repeated the same mistake in Japan … no personal apology was given.”

Manoj Kumar expressed his disappointment and said, “He has dishonored me. The court instructed them in 2008 to remove the scene from all prints and broadcast materials. “

After a long legal battle, Manoj Kumar withdrew the cases, because he believed that legal proceedings did not create a sense of responsibility between Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan.

Manoj Kumar, the famous Manoj Kumar for patriotic films like ‘Porb and West’ and ‘Kranti’, has died at the age of 87 at Koklabin Dhirobhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai due to a heart disease.
