Shut down sea winds in Karachi; How long will the intense heat be?

Karachi:

The closure of sea winds in the city of Quaid increased the heat, causing the citizens to become unconscious.

The Meteorological Department has warned that sea winds have been inactive due to low pressure on the Indian state of Rajasthan, which has resulted in the intensity of heat in other parts of Sindh including Karachi.

In the current situation, the hot desert and northwestern winds of Balochistan are affecting coastal areas.

The spokesman said the heat wave in the city is likely to continue till Tuesday, while temperatures can exceed 39 degrees Celsius from today to Sunday. Meanwhile, sea winds are likely to be suspended from morning to noon, which will increase the feeling of heat.

However, the meteorological department says the temperature will start to decline by 2 to 3 degrees from Monday and the maximum temperature will re -34 to 35 degrees by Tuesday or Wednesday, which is expected to provide some relief to the citizens.

On the other hand, a new series of western winds will enter Pakistan via Balochistan from April 9, but there is no possibility of rain in Karachi. However, light rains are expected at some places in the rural areas of Sindh.

Experts have instructed citizens to avoid unnecessary exit in the sun, use more water and take precautionary measures to protect against the potential effects of the heatwave.
