This year, 79 % of the Ramadan relief package was reached in a very transparent manner.
The review meeting of the Ramadan Relief Package 2025, chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, gave a detailed briefing on the achievements of the package and said that 79 % of the money has been reached in a very transparent manner, while 1.9 million payments were made through digital vault.
Important steps and achievements related to the package:
Digital Walt: P951,191 people received funds through the digital vault introduced, including 823,653 women and 2,541 special persons.
Awareness Campaign: Banks and auxiliary agencies sent 6.2 million robu calls, 178,700 outbound calls and 6.1 million SMS. The National Telecom Corporation’s Call Center made 126,839 outbounds and 158,551 they made these bound calls.
Solution of Complaints: A total of 1,273 complaints were received, which were immediately resolved.
Nation across the country: This package was introduced unprecedented in Pakistan, including Gilgit -Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the review meeting, the Prime Minister said that this digital system would be adopted in other government schemes as well. He appreciated the efforts of State Bank, NADRA, PTA and other agencies and directed that future plans be improved keeping in view the complaints received.
The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Ahad Khan Cheema, Attaullah Tarad, Shaza Fatima, Governor State Bank Jamil Ahmed and representatives of auxiliary private companies.
