India’s legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies

Manoj Kumar, a leading Bollywood industry actor, died at the age of 87.

According to Indian media, Manoj Kumar, a famous actor for his roles in patriotic films like Puba West and Kranti, was admitted to Kokla Ben Dhiro Bai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Where he died at 3:30 am on Friday due to heart -related complexities.

According to a medical certificate issued by the hospital, the secondary cause of death was a liver malfunction. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the news of the death of a ‘legendary actor and filmmaker’ on social media.

Shareing two pictures with the senior actor, Modi wrote, ‘The death of legendary actor and filmmaker Shri Manoj Kumar ji is deeply saddened. He was an Indian cinema icon, which was especially remembered for his patriotism, which was also reflected in his films. Manojji’s works have awakened the spirit of national pride and determination and will continue to impress the generations. My thoughts are with his family and fans at this time. ‘

Manoj Kumar’s son Kanal Goswami told Indian media that Mr Kumar had been fighting for health problems for a long time. His son said, ‘It is God’s grace that he said goodbye to this world peacefully. Their funeral will be tomorrow morning. ‘

Remember that Manoj Kumar was born in 1937 in Abbottabad (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan), which was then part of the subcontinent and his name was Hari Krishnan Goswami.

Mr Kumar debuted the film fashion in Bollywood in 1957, after which he got a role in the glass doll (1961) where he acted with Saeeda Khan. His characters in patriotic films such as Apakar (1967), Porb and West (1970) and Kranti (1981) gave him the title of ‘Bharat Kumar’. He also directed and acted in noise (1972).
