Capera collected Rs 37.37 billion in the first 9 months of this fiscal year

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (CAPRA) has collected Rs 37.37 billion in the first 9 months of this fiscal year, which is 41 % higher than the same period of the last financial year.

According to spokesman Capra, Rs 26.58 billion was collected in the first 9 months of the last financial year, while this year the company recorded an increase of Rs 10.79 billion.

In the first 9 months of this financial year, Rs 28.8 billion was collected in the sales tax on services while the infrastructure development of Rs 8.57 billion was collected in the form of development. In the first 9 months of the last financial year, Capra had collected Rs 22.8 billion in sales tax on services while Rs 3.74 billion was collected in the form of infrastructure development. This shows that sales tax on services during the current financial year increased by 26 % while infrastructure development has increased by 129 %, which is evidence of the company’s extraordinary performance.

Director General Capra Fauzia Iqbal lauded the hard work and dedication of the officers and staff of the company, saying that if this enthusiasm remains intact, by the end of June, we will not only achieve the target of Rs 47 billion for the current fiscal year but will gather more and more. He also thanked the taxpayers, who trusted Capra and provided full support, which helped fulfill the target of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa financially independent.

He also thanked Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Ali Amin Gandapur, and Advisor for Finance, Mr. Muzammal Aslam, whose guidance and cooperation helped Capra adopt an effective strategy and took the organization on the path to achieving its goals.
